I’m looking for info on my grt-grandmother, (Laura angeline Tyler (md. Charles Wesley Poe).She was born in 1868, not sure where, but I think in Texas. She & Charles were md in Bexar County,Texas on Dec 24, 1883. She died in July 19, 1892. Not sure where. Some of my Poe’s I’ve found in Brico County. I found one of her sones buried in Rest Haven Cemetery in Floyd or Brisco County. On his death certificate that his mother was Dottie Tyler. So I’m wondering if that was a nickname or whoever gave the information didn’t know what she was talking about.. Do you have anything on her Or can tell me where I can find out. I’ve been searching for her (10 years) to try to find her parents. Any help will be appreciated!

I’m searching for descendants of A.R. Merriweather of Lockney; he is listed in a 1952 Amarillo Daily News obituary as the brother of Osburn McCollum.

Searching for information on my maternal grandmother Susie Cindy Bailey Battle, born 1891 in Texas. She and her husband Robert Joseph Battle lived in or around the town of Lockney in Floyd County in the 1930s and 1940s. They are possibly buried in the Lockney Cemetery. Any information you can furnish on this family would be greatly appreciated.

I am researching the families of: Charles & Annie (Smith) Sanders, Jehu G & Mary (Sanders) Shearer and **Sappho (Shearer) Courtney.
**Sappho was married to John Ellis Courtney in Young County, but by the time she moved to Floyd County, she was widowed and lived with her youngest daughters.
